100 hitmakers against cancer

A big part of Catfest’s fundraising will come from 100 Hitmakers Against Cancer, a charity project which involves us organising and auctioning a series of donated guitars signed by the great and good of the music industry. The guitars will be auctioned at Catfest. Details on how to participate in this will be issued in the run-up to the big day.

Signatories so far include Sir Cliff Richard, Van Morrison, Brian May, Jools Holland, Lulu and many more. If you know any music stars who’d be prepared to sign, please get in touch!

Our chosen charity

All profits from Catfest go directly to Action Against Cancer. Action Against Cancer funds the development of cures for cancer at leading institutions such as Imperial College London and the University of Sussex.

The groundbreaking programmes that they fund focus on developing new diagnostics and treatments to improve the survival prospects and quality of life for millions of cancer sufferers worldwide. This work is led by world-renowned oncologist, Professor Justin Stebbing. Read more about why Action Against Cancer is our chosen charity here.
